The other day I was making a purchase when a long-time acquaintance?/friend was sampling new wines. I was offered a taste of the ChocoWine Reserve Series Cabernet Sauvignon. I am not much of a red wine drinker. Plus, I kind of turned my nose up at the idea of combining any kind of chocolate with differing flavors of wine.
I tasted it anyway.
The wine tasted like a yoohoo with a kick. I was surprised. The ChocoWine comes in several varieties: Reisling Icewine, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Franc Icewine. I am glad that the winery does not offer a ChocoChardonnay. I think that would just taste odd.
